UC Travel Abroad: Sri Lanka 2015

This is a blog I created for my study abroad class to Sri Lanka, supervised by University of Cincinnati staff.

My name is Rhianna.  I love to travel and jumped on this opportunity to go to Sri Lanka as soon as I heard about it.  The purpose of our trip is to learn the difference between primary and secondary research, learning how to communicate with foreign people in their homelands and learning about foreign cultures.  My group is traveling to many locations and continuing our individual research in the areas.  Some places include Kandy, Galle and Colombo.

My focus of study is the reconstruction following the 26-year long civil war in Sri Lanka.  Some of the information can get very sad, so please think carefully before you decide to read it.
